Our FREE Bring a Friend boot camp style workout is held the last Saturday of every month at 10 am, and is open to the public! These workouts are fun and intense, and can be adjusted to any individual’s physical ability regardless of past experience. It’s a great way to experience CrossFit Staunton! During each hour session, participants will move through workouts derived from functional fitness and varied strength and body weight movements.
Our Beginner’s Program consists of (2) one-on-one sessions with one of our coaches scheduled at your convenience followed by a month unlimited access to try out any of our mainfloor classes. These sessions are designed to be informational and instructional for anyone trying CrossFit for the first time. We slow down our usual pace to guide you through the basic exercises to get you familiarized with proper mechanics and technique, and get your body primed to join our group classes. CrossFit Staunton’s Beginner Program is designed to ensure your success; we cover everything from our programming philosophy, proper exercise modifications, and scaling and regulating individual intensity. It’s a great way to start your CrossFit journey and to get ramped up for our regular group classes. Because CrossFit Staunton Beginner Program is one on one, the coaches have plenty of opportunities to help you work on technique and get to know your unique goals and needs.

The backbone of the program is traditional CrossFit workouts, focusing on strength, conditioning, and mobility. These workouts combine gymnastics, weightlifting, and metabolic conditioning in varying degrees and durations to create unparalleled results. From the basic (but all-important) air squat all the way to the very technical muscle up and Olympic lifts, we utilize them all and make it workable for anyone at any level of fitness. We build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability and translate to real life. And of course, there are the aesthetic benefits, too.
Our personal training sessions are the most effective and efficient way to achieve your personal fitness goals, whether you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, or an experienced athlete looking to become a more well-rounded athlete with specialized, individual training. Sign up for our personal training sessions where one of our world-class coaches will work with you to help define your goals, develop a specific program and be your personal guide. Each session is designed just for you with a set of eyes on you at all times to ensure you’re getting value out of every one of those minutes.
Miss a workout, looking to work some skills, or schedule too hectic to make regular classes? Open gym gives you the flexibility to get your workouts in, your way. Open gym is available Saturdays 9-10 am, and some Sundays at 12 pm. Check our online schedule or ask a coach to confirm our weekly Open Gym hours.
We have three classes, CrossFit Pre-Teen (age 9-13+), CrossFit Kids (age 5-9) and CrossFit Pre-School (Age 3-5). Our classes run in 6 week cycles with one week off between cycles (*an extended break will take place during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season). Please note that it is not the age of your child that is the deciding factor for what class he/she attends. It is largely based upon individual skill, athleticism and maturity and is ultimately decided upon by the head coach to ensure your child is getting the most out of the CrossFit experience.
Preschool classes last for 20 minutes, Kids classes last for 30 minutes and CrossFit Pre-Teens classes last for 45 minutes.
Take advantage of our sister facility, Queen City Strength and enjoy all the amenities it has to offer. Free weights, treadmills, and TVs are available for use at your convenience. This dual membership is a great way to target fitness, your way.
Our Corporate Wellness Program is geared toward improving the overall wellbeing of employees. The workouts are designed to promote and enhance health and fitness. Participants are exposed to a wide variety of movements with a focus on proper mechanics. Coaches focus on movement quality well before intensity. All workouts are scalable and can be made as difficult or as easy to meet the demands of every individual participant.
